RESULTS

Last night, the girls’ softball team traveled to Monrovia to take on the Bulldogs.  The B team came out swinging, with Izzy Campbell and Molly Hudson on the mound, securing the win, 6-1. Molly Hudson started the A team off with 2 strikeouts in the first inning, the Braylin Bentley finished up with 4 strikeouts for the win of 22-5.  The girls had over 20 hits on the night, including an in park 3 run homer from Braylin Bentley, big hits from Eden Norton, Starla Deckard, Keaton Connors, Izzy Campbell, Zee Neeley, Anna Kemmerling, Micaiah Hill, Molly Hudson, Story Heckman, Jalynn Matzke, Alainah Peter, Karson Krebbs, and Baylee Clark. Way to go, girls! The teams will face off against OV tonight!

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Boys & Girls Club will be closed on Thursday due to their annual Boys & Girls Club Event, Boys to Men. Please make alternate dismissal arrangements for your child.

Students in grades 5-7 can request EJHS courses for the next school year using Harmony Family Access. See Mrs. Schlemmer’s email for details! All requests are due by Monday, May 5.

The Edgewood Coffee Corral is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year. Paid positions are available during the school day and during extracurricular activities, so you can find a schedule that works for you. We are extending the due date of the application to Monday, May 7th. Color Guard Auditions: We’re thrilled to announce EHS Color Guard Auditions are just around the corner! Mark your calendars for Tuesday, May 6th, and Thursday, May 8th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM!
Whether you’ve danced before or are brand new, if you’re in 7th or 8th grade, this is your moment to shine! Come join the fun, learn something new, and be part of an incredible team!

Attention 7th and 8th graders! Are you interested in law enforcement? Every summer, the Indiana Sheriffs Association offers a camp for students who want to explore law enforcement as a potential career. EJHS Lacrosse Call Out Flier

Interested in trying lacrosse? Join our new middle school lacrosse team! No experience or equipment is necessary. Practices will focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and having fun. You have until April 30th to order and select free delivery to the school. After April 30th, there will be a $9.99 shipping fee.

Athletic Physicals: Student-athletes must have a completed physical before they may participate in tryouts or practice. A physical dated after April 1 is good for the entire school year. We encourage parents to take advantage of the athletic physical night at Edgewood High School each spring in order to have their student-athlete prepared for any activity they choose to participate in for the following school year. FinalForms: All physicals are now completed through FinalForms. All athletes MUST be registered on FinalForms. Register HERE

Transportation Fees: Each student-athlete will be required to pay a $35 transportation fee for each sport in which he/she participates. Make payments on Eventlink HERE.

Event Tickets: We are cashless. At the gate, we will have a card reader for bank and credit cards. You can also pre-purchase tickets on Eventlink HERE.

  • Gate Ticket Prices: $5 per person. plus a .85 cent fee
  • EJHS All Sports Season Passes: Each pass is good for admission to all home EJHS athletic events, excluding County and WIC tournaments. Non-Transferable – Edgewood High School events are not covered by this pass. Information regarding passes for the 2025-2026 school year will be released in the coming months.

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

Students who would like to request to see their counselor should complete this Google form: EJHS Counselor Sign up. The form should only be completed using the student’s RBB email.

Attention Students!
Have you had a rough start to your morning and forgotten to brush your teeth or put on deodorant? From today on, if you find yourself in this situation, complete our Colts Care Closet form online, and your EJHS Student Services providers will help you get those needs met. We have new hygiene products, new or gently used clothing, and more available for your personal use. You will find the link to the Colts Care form in your email, on the counselor sign-up form, and in your student bookmarks. We look forward to providing this support to you and want to thank everyone who has donated to this cause!

Bullying Report Form: Students can find a link to this form on their Chromebooks in their “Student Bookmarks”. Parents can use this LINK to complete the form as well. For additional information about IDOE Student Safety/Bullying Reporting, feel free to visit the following site.

Not Feeling Well: Students, if you’re not feeling well, report to the Health Office. The Health Aide will contact your parent if you need to go home. By-passing the Health Office and contacting your parent yourself will be an unexcused absence. Parents, if your student contacts you, please refer them to the Health Office.

Student Photographs, Videos, and/or Sound Recordings Opt-Out:  Last year, we moved to students having to OPT OUT of having their photo taken. This means all students are allowed to have their photo taken unless their parent/guardian fills out the attached form and brings it back to the office.

Chromebooks/Chargers: If you have any issues or damage to your Chromebook please see Ms. Edgeman in the Media Center. See Ms. Edgeman if you need to purchase a new charger.

Pizza X POP Tabs: Love Pizza X? Love EJHS? Eat pizza from Pizza X and save the Proof-Of-Purchase (POP) tabs from the pizza boxes. Ask your friends and family to save them as well. Each Proof-Of-Purchase tab is worth 25 cents.
