The Mustangs had another great showing with double wins over Martinsville, bringing both the GIrls and Boys records to 2:0! It’s been an amazing start to our season.  We have a lot of young swimmers and we tried a number of different swims tonight.  Our Mustangs didn’t let us down.  We had a number of great swims and several personal bests.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Do you like trivia? Do you love Ireland? Join Academic Super Bowl! Sign up for and come to our call-out meeting this Friday during Mustang Time in Mr. Axsiom’s classroom! This year’s Academic Super Bowl Topic is “Ireland in the Twentieth Century.” We will have teams competing in English, Fine Arts and Music, Social Studies, Math, and Science. Come join us!

The Edgewood Fishing Team will be having a call-out meeting on December 16th at 6 pm in the cafeteria.  If you’re an angler, come out and see this is for you! If you have any questions please contact Brian Mobley at 812-325-3046.

The Coffee Corral is hiring for next semester! To apply, follow this link or visit the RBB website and click “Apply for a Position.” Simply create an account using our online program called Nimble and fill out the online application. Applications are due at midnight on Sunday, December 8th. Interviews will be held next week, so check your email for details!

December Yearbook Reminders: 

The last day to order yearbooks at the $60 price is December 14th, 2022.  Following that date, the price will increase to $70. Also, don’t forget SENIOR ADS! If you are interested in purchasing an ad to recognize your graduating senior, visit the Jostens website to create and place your ad.

Finally, seniors, don’t forget to check your email for information about submitting your senior quote for this year’s yearbook. Quotes are due by December 20th.

Hey Wildcats! Auditions for our Spring Production of High School Musical will be held Monday, December 9th – Wednesday December 11th from 3pm – 7pm in the High School Auditorium. Want to get involved but don’t want to perform on stage? We are also looking for crew members who want to get involved and meet new friends, but don’t want to be on stage. You can pick up an Information Packet for either Cast or Crew on the table outside of the Choir Room or scan the QR code on the Audition Posters displayed around school to get everything you need. Please reach out to Mr. Aroca with any questions at earoca@rbbschools.net We can’t wait to see you at auditions!

Are you an aspiring writer or artist? Do you have a poem or drawing you’ve been sitting on that you want the world to see? Or have you just been looking for a reason to create one? AESOP is the publication for you! If you’re interested, just place your submission in one of the many folders scattered around the school to be considered by some of your fellow students for publication at the end of the year. We’re all very excited to see what kind of creativity this school has to offer, so don’t hesitate to try it out!

STUDENT PARKING: Students park in the front parking lot. In order to drive to school students must fill out the PARKING PERMIT APPLICATION

You will then need to go to Mr. Latham in the front office with $1 and your driver’s license to get your parking permit. If you registered your vehicle previously, you do NOT need to get another permit.

 

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT/SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Students who would like to request to see their counselor should complete this Google form: Request to See Your Counselor. The form should only be completed using the student’s RBB email. Students may not request schedule changes based on teacher or period preference.
