RESULTS
EJHS Show Choirs attended their final competition of the season this past Friday at Bishop Luers High School. Of 6 competing choirs, the EJHS program swept the competition! Sophisticates was the 1st Runner-up, with Outstanding Performer awarded to Kara Adkins. Mini Warehouse’s Outstanding Performer was Norah Miller, and Mini won Best Vocals, Best Choreography, and overall Grand Champion for the 5th time this season! What a great ending to the show choir season!

Members of the EJHS Band had a busy weekend with the 8th Grade Jazz Band attending the ISSMA Jazz Festival this past Saturday, where they received a Gold rating from all three judges. Later on that night, the Winter Percussion went to the Franklin Community percussion contest and placed second out of ten groups. Congratulations to everyone involved!

Colts Wrestling Team Celebrates a Stellar Season!
The Colts wrestling team capped off their season with an impressive victory at the WIC Championship!

The Track & Field parent information night will be this Wednesday at 4:00pm. We will discuss practice and meet procedures, hand out the schedule, and provide all the information you will need for uniforms, upcoming events, and coaches’ contacts.

Open tennis practices will be Monday- Thursday this week after school until 4 pm. Players need to be at the tennis courts by 2:45 pm, ready to start. These are not mandatory practices, but they are a great way to get ready for the start of the season after spring break.

Attention all students! Bring your books back to the library ASAP! Did you know, there are over $10,000 in lost/overdue books! If you are unsure, check in the library to see if you have any books missing. If you find them, bring them in so another student can read it! If you can’t find it you may be responsible for paying for a new one! Your checkout privileges are in jeopardy!

Homeroom Colts Care Closet Fundraiser Competition: Hey Colts! Did you know we have a Colts Care Closet? It provides items you might need, like toothbrushes, toothpaste, hairbrushes, and more! For the next two weeks (March 3rd–13th), we’re holding a competition to collect items like deodorant, face wash, nail clippers, socks, and laundry supplies. The homeroom with the most donations from each grade will win a prize! Let’s help each other out and have fun collecting!

Attention 7th and 8th graders! Are you interested in law enforcement? Every summer, the Indiana Sheriffs Association offers a camp for students who want to explore law enforcement as a potential career. SOFTBALL: Attention Lady Colts. This is your call-out for Girls’ Softball for the spring. We will have conditioning on March 13 after school from 2:30-3:45 pm. GIRLS’ TENNIS: Interested in being on the EJHS girls’ tennis team this spring? Parents/guardians, fill out this sign-up form and click the Remind link to sign up for all tennis announcements. Athletic Physicals: Student-athletes must have a completed physical before they may participate in tryouts or practice. A physical dated after April 1 is good for the entire school year. We encourage parents to take advantage of the athletic physical night at Edgewood High School each spring in order to have their student-athlete prepared for any activity they choose to participate in for the following school year. Transportation Fees: Each student-athlete will be required to pay a $35 transportation fee for each sport in which he/she participates. Make payments on Eventlink HERE.

Event Tickets: We are cashless. At the gate, we will have a card reader for bank and credit cards. You can also pre-purchase tickets on Eventlink HERE.
- Gate Ticket Prices: $5 per person. plus a .85 cent fee
- EJHS All Sports Season Passes: Each pass is good for admission to all home EJHS athletic events, excluding County and WIC tournaments. Non-Transferable – Edgewood High School events are not covered by this pass.

Attention Students!
Have you had a rough start to your morning and forgotten to brush your teeth or put on deodorant? From today on, if you find yourself in this situation, complete our Colts Care Closet form online, and your EJHS Student Services providers will help you get those needs met. We have new hygiene products, new or gently used clothing, and more available for your personal use. Not Feeling Well: Students, if you’re not feeling well, report to the Health Office. The Health Aide will contact your parent if you need to go home. By-passing the Health Office and contacting your parent yourself will be an unexcused absence. Parents, if your student contacts you, please refer them to the Health Office.

Student Photographs, Videos, and/or Sound Recordings Opt-Out: Last year, we moved to students having to OPT OUT of having their photo taken. This means all students are allowed to have their photo taken unless their parent/guardian fills out the attached form and brings it back to the office.
