RESULTS

Double wins for both Girls and Boys Swimming and Diving, with 23 out of 24 first place finishes!!  Girls record: 7:1  Boys record: 6:2
Both the boys and girls remain undefeated in the WIC with only Indian Creek yet to face…then the Championship Meet.
We’ve had a lot of hurdles to work through the past 2 weeks (injuries, pool issues, final exams), but we have and will continue to work hard and overcome them all as we push towards our goals!
Highlight swims of the night:
Girls
Elli Emmons (senior), 1st place in the 50 Freestyle
Maya Gill (junior), 1st place in the 500 Freestyle
Ellie Lewis (senior), 1st place in the 100 Backstroke
Maggie Mccormack (freshman), 1st place in the 100 Breaststroke
Boys
Mason Wilson (junior), 1st place in the 500 Freestyle
Anthony Straw (freshman), 1st place in the 100 Backstroke
Other outstanding Freshmen swims: Teigen Hulbert (50 and 100 free), Gabe Tassi (100 back), Chris Zelhof-Arriaga (100 breast)

ENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Friday’s Spirit Day theme is FLEECE-Navidad! Wear your FLEECE or Flannel! (Bonus points if it IU themed! GO IU!!!)

Come support the basketball  Mustangs tomorrow as they take on Indian Creek. But PLAN to eat dinner at the game as the Lady Mustangs are teaming up with our very own Horseshoe BBQ club for BBQ and Buckets. For $5 you get a Horseshoe BBQ sandwich, chips, cookie, and a drink.  Come and support and have a great night of Buckets and BBQ for all.

If you have not taken a look, check out the new bulletin boards located in the Commons.  One of the bulletin boards focuses on college and the other is career themed.  Information on each board is to be informative and periodically, the information will be updated so keep checking back.  Areas focused on include military, career spotlight, trades, defining higher education degrees (associate, bachelors, masters) and explaining certificates, apprenticeships, internships, FAFSA, scholarships, and job postings.  Please check out the information and if you have any questions, please let Mrs. Harrington know!

Seniors, don’t forget to check your email for information about submitting your senior quote for this year’s yearbook. Quotes are due by December 20th.

Heads up! The window for AESOP submissions is still open and will be until December 20th. If you’re interested, look around for one of the folders or posters around the hallway.

STUDENT PARKING: Students park in the front parking lot. In order to drive to school students must fill out the PARKING PERMIT APPLICATION

You will then need to go to Mr. Latham in the front office with $1 and your driver’s license to get your parking permit. If you registered your vehicle previously, you do NOT need to get another permit.

 

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT/SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Students who would like to request to see their counselor should complete this Google form: Request to See Your Counselor. The form should only be completed using the student’s RBB email. Students may not request schedule changes based on teacher or period preference.
